DARK 2 LIGHT PACKAGEIf you are thinking about going blonde but not sure where to start, our Dark 2 Light collection is a great option. We start the process by assessing the health of your hair and understanding your hair colour history. After we understand your desired result, we will create a customised lightening plan outlining the steps and the products required to support your hair lightening journey.
By learning basic hair colour theory, you will understand the process that we must go through in order to create the hair colour of your dreams. Darker coloured hair is full of a deep red and orange pigment. In order to get you to a lighter colour, we must lighten these pigments to become a yellow colour. This process sees the pigments going from red to orange to orange/ yellow, to yellow, which is the level required to create a lovely bright blonde tone. This process can take up to 5 sessions to achieve and depends on the starting point of your hair. If you have box coloured hair, or your hair is dry and porous, this process will take longer than hair that is virgin, uncoloured hair. We have many techniques available that we can use to gently lighten your hair and keep your hair looking and feeling healthy whilst we take you through the various hues that appear on the way to lightened hair.
