The Art of the Experience - Salon Policies
To provide a seamless experience for every guest, we kindly ask that you review our salon guidelines. By booking an appointment with Blushed Salon, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. The Commitment (Booking Fees)
To secure your dedicated time, we require a booking fee for all reservations. This is a pre-payment applied directly to your service on the day of your visit. You may pay per appointment or maintain a $50 'Rolling Credit' on your file for effortless rebooking.
Standard Services (Over $75): $50 - $100 booking fee.
Hair Extensions: $100 booking fee + 50% towards the cost of the hair (consultation dependent).
Bridal: $250 booking fee
2. Respecting Our Time (Cancellations & Rescheduling)
As a boutique studio, last-minute changes significantly impact our team. Please ensure that you understand your obligations to the notice periods prior to booking an appointment with Blushed salon.
48-Hour Notice: Changes made with at least 48 hours' notice are fully refundable or transferable.
Late Cancellations (Under 48 Hours) & No-Shows: Result in the forfeiture of the booking fee.

3. The 'Three-Strike' Policy
Your first two last-minute cancellations or no-shows are treated as warnings (fee still forfeited). Upon a third occurrence, a 100% pre-payment will be required for all future bookings.
4. Arrival & Grace Period
We allow a 10-minute grace period. Arriving later than 10 minutes may result in a shortened service or a reschedule to avoid impacting the next guest. In the event of a reschedule, the cancellation fee will apply.
5. Our Satisfaction Guarantee
Your hair is our greatest advertisement. If you are not 100% in love with your results, please contact us within 5 days. Results are best evaluated on hair that has been professionally dried and styled. Choosing to leave without a professional finish releases the salon from the obligation of a complimentary correction.
6. Retail & Vouchers
Retail Returns: Return products within 7 days (75% remaining) for a refund or exchange. Return shipping is the responsibility of the guest.
Gift Vouchers: Valid for 36 months. Non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash.
Prizes: Non-transferable and must be claimed within one month of the draw, and redeemed within three months of the prize draw.
7. Salon Environment
For the safety of your little ones and the relaxation of our guests, we ask that children be closely supervised at all times due to the presence of sharp tools, chemicals, and high-heat equipment.

Bridal and Event Policies
Congratulations on your upcoming celebration. We are honoured to be a part of your story. To ensure a seamless, high-end experience from the first brushstroke to the final photograph, please review our dedicated event policies.
1. Securing Your Date
To officially reserve your wedding or event date, we require a non-refundable retainer of 25% of the total invoice (or a minimum of $250).
Confirmation: Your date is confirmed only once the retainer is paid and you have received a confirmation email from the Blushed team.
Investment: This retainer is applied directly toward your final balance.
Final Payment: For a stress-free morning, full payment for all services is required prior to the commencement of styling.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Our calendar is held exclusively for you. Our policy reflects the significant planning and time committed to your event:
16+ Weeks' Notice: 50% of your retainer will be refunded.
Less than 12 Weeks' Notice: The retainer is non-refundable.
Rescheduling: We will do our absolute best to accommodate a date change if notified at least 12 weeks in advance. If requested with less than 8 weeks' notice, we cannot guarantee availability.
3. Refinement of Services
Service Reductions: Once your retainer is paid, we are unable to reduce the number of services booked.
Service Additions: You are welcome to add services at any time, subject to stylist availability.
Final Changes: No changes to the booking can be accepted within 8 weeks of the event date.
4. Travel & Surcharges
To bring the Blushed experience to your location, the following fees apply:
Travel: Locations beyond 20km (return) from our studio incur a fee, typically ranging from $50 – $150.
Early Starts & Holidays: A $150 surcharge applies to bookings requiring a start time before 7:00am, as well as Sundays, Public Holidays, and Long Weekends.
Mobile Minimum: Mobile bridal services require a minimum booking value of $550.00.

Our event packages are designed as a curated, 'As Is' experience. They are non-transferable and cannot be split between different parties or dates.

2. Medical Conditions: If you have any medical conditions, you should consult with a physician before receiving a service. Our treatments are not a replacement for medical or surgical procedures.
3. No Guarantees: We make no guarantees, express or implied, regarding the results of any treatment. Every client's outcome may vary.
4. Limitation of Liability: You agree that Blushed Salon is not liable for any injury, damage, or claims arising from your use of our facilities or services.
