Blushed and Beautiful is Melissa (Owner, Hairdresser and Makeup Artist), Emma (Beauty Therapist and Makeup Artist) and Juliette (Apprentice Hairdresser).
We are a small team with a big heart; we are all very passionate about providing the best possible service to our clients, who over time become our friends and a part of the Blushed family.
We are aware that without our wonderful clients, we do not have a happy business. Because of this understanding, our sole focus whilst you are in our salon is to not only provide you with the best hair, makeup and beauty service, but to provide with you with a safe, positive and happy salon that you look forward to coming back to time and time again.
The Blushed and Beautiful journey was born 7 years ago in the garage of Melissa's home, when her partner surprised her with a home spray tanning machine for her birthday. Little did he know, he had just ignited the spark that was to lead to creating one of the leading salons in the Ballina area and surrounds. What a fabulous birthday present!
Our biggest business achievement to date is winning the Northern Rivers 'Hair & Beauty Business of the Year' award for two years in a row; 2016 and 2017. Melissa's most personal achievement is winning the 'Entrepreneur of the Year' award for 2015. Again, these accolades are not possible without the support of our loyal clients and supporters.
